Very interesting read, thank you for sharing! I cannot comment on the limitations of AI, unfortunately, because I use it rarely and only for superficial (and inconsequential) queries. But it's interesting to learn where European AI currently stands, thank you! I also hope "we" will catch up soon.

Today I learned about Le Chat from Mistral, a French AI company. I switched immediately. Not only is it located in the EU (huge bonus!), it also just answers my questions and spares me the silly "Great question! 🤩👍" remarks with which ChatGPT kept getting on my nerves 🙄. So much better:

I got it too. Apparently that's when you click on the link from outside the US. It works when you set a VPN to a US IP. Very weird.
