You should check out vim bindings in other apps first probably. There are also a few interactive guides and games for learning vim you could look into. Good luck ๐
I am the Sisyphus of neovim.
Someday I will get the MSVC compiler working with neovim and cmake.
Until then I currently use it for personal projects.

I like using a binding that is stock so that I can use vim keybinds anywhere, on any machine without messing with .vimrc or the program settings.
I imagine Ctrl+C is good for that too, dont know what the support for it in other editors and programs is like though.
Depends on the QOL features you're talking about. Neovim has a few preconfigs you could check out. Helix is preconfigured out of the box but you'd have to learn bindings. Check out zed if you're not on windows (or be patient).
Sublime seems like a good mature fit for what you're asking for here.
