🎯 Gibbs’ production with Monty was not worthy of the RB3 pick. The interior OL has turnover- C Frank Ragnow retired. I have no issue drafting Gibbs at this price, but I’ll likely take a WR instead.
7️⃣ Draft Advice
Gibbs offers one of the highest floors in fantasy.
If Montgomery fades or gets hurt? You’re holding the league-winner.
Montgomery is the heart and soul of the offense. He’s not likely going away.
5️⃣ Team Context Helps
If Detroit’s defense bounces back, expect more game control → more rushing volume overall.
That could mean enough work for BOTH RBs to hit value—even in a timeshare.
6️⃣ 2025 Best/Worst Case
✅ Best Case: Full takeover → RB1 overall
❌ Worst Case: Timeshare → RB3–RB6 finish
4️⃣ 2025 Outlook: Monty Complicates Things
Montgomery’s still around (re-signed)
Will Lions stick with a 1A/1B split?
Or will they unleash Gibbs as the clear No. 1?
Gibbs is the better player—but roles matter.
3️⃣ With Montgomery Healthy = Capped Ceiling
In 13 shared games:
~12 carries/game
1–4 receptions
15+ PPR points consistently, 18.3 average
But only 3 games over 20 points
Just 2 games with 100+ rushing yards
🎯 Super safe floor, but limited ceiling.
2️⃣ Gibbs Without Montgomery = Nuclear
After Monty’s Week knee injury:
5 games (incl. playoffs)
32.0 PPR points/game
Never under 25 points
105+ rushing yards in 4 straight
🔥 Overall RB1 pace.
1️⃣ 2024 Season Recap
1,412 rushing yards
16 rushing TDs
52 receptions, 517 rec yards, 4 rec TDs
88th percentile broken tackles
65th percentile YAC
✅ Explosiveness. ✅ Efficiency. ✅ Volume when it mattered.
Fantasy Football ADP Threads of the Day by @Rotowire
🚀 Jahmyr Gibbs averaged 32 PPR points over his last 5 games in 2024.
💥 155 scrimmage yards
💥 5 receptions
💥 2 TDs per game
The only question: Can he dominate with David Montgomery healthy?
Let’s dig into his league-winning upside 🧵
Fantasy Football Stats of the Day by @rotowire.bsky.social e
📉 Amon-Ra had 14 catches of 20+ yds- down from 24 in 2023.
📉 39th percentile YAC . Had 5 gms <50 yds, 2<14.
💡 Floor’s fine, but I’m out at WR6 cost—others have more upside.

📌 The Bottom Line:
Pickens finally has a real QB.
Prescott gets another weapon.
Metcalf wins by default.
Tolbert heads to fantasy exile.
5️⃣ Meanwhile in Pittsburgh…
🤯 Mason Rudolph is now the QB1
📈 DK Metcalf moves back into the WR24 mix
There’s no real target competition — Calvin Austin, Roman Wilson, and Robert Woods won’t demand volume.
4️⃣ Biggest loser?
Jalen Tolbert 😞
He had 6+ targets in 4 games last year and topped 80+ yards in 3 of them.
Pickens just took his job.
3️⃣ Fantasy fallout ⬇️
✅ CeeDee Lamb: Still a top-3 WR
📈 Dak Prescott: Was going outside QB15 — now in play as a top-12 QB
📈 George Pickens: Drafted outside WR36 post-draft — now rising toward WR30 with top-24 upside
2️⃣ Now he gets a QB upgrade with Dak Prescott 🔼
And while CeeDee Lamb owns the short/intermediate game…
Pickens can thrive as a downfield weapon 🚀
There are enough targets for both to eat.
1️⃣ The Cowboys acquired Pickens from the Steelers for a 3rd-round pick + pick swap.
Pickens’ career in Pittsburgh:
📊 58 rec / 947 yds / 4 TDs per year
👎 His QBs: Pickett, Trubisky, Rudolph, Wilson, Fields
🚨 NFL Trade Alert 🚨
George Pickens → Cowboys
Fantasy Football implications are BIG. Let’s break it down 🧵⬇️
@rotowire.bsky.social
Fantasy Football Stat of the Day 📉
Darnell Mooney averaged 7.4 targets through Week 11 in 2024.
After ATL’s Week 12 bye? Just 5.0 targets/game 😬
With Michael Penix under center, Mooney’s usage dip may stick.
Draft outside the top-55 WRs.
@rotowire.bsky.social
Today's stat:
Marvin Mims was invisible through Week 10 (11/69/0).
From Week 11 on? 🔥
➡️ 6 of 7 games with 44+ yards
➡️ 6 TDs
Drafting him near WR50 = 🔓 breakout upside.

Today's stat: Jalen Tolbert saw 6+ targets in 4 games last year:
✅ 82+ yards in 3 of them
🎯 TD in the other
If Dallas doesn’t add a WR, Tolbert is the likely WR2.
Drafted outside the top 65-70 WRs…
💎 Pure upside pick.

@rotowire.bsky.social Today's stat:
Cedric Tillman was breaking out before a 2024 concussion:
➡️ 7 REC ➡️ 85 YDS ➡️ 1 TD per game over his first 3 starts.
👀 Locked into a top-2 WR role in Cleveland.
Draft him outside the top-55 WRs and watch him smash. 🔥
Here are the 2025 NFL Draft prop bets I just bet on @DKSportsbook. The odds will obviously change. @rotowire.bsky.social

10/ If Kupp stays healthy and thrives in Seattle, it’ll be one of the biggest surprises of the 2025 season. But history suggests this is a WR in serious decline. Adjust your fantasy rankings accordingly. 📉 #NFL #FantasyFootball
9/ One underrated factor: Kupp took an insane amount of hits as a blocker in McVay’s scheme. He’s endured far more collisions than most WRs. That wear & tear could explain his declining recovery time & production. ⚠️
8/ The Bottom Line:
• Kupp’s been dealing with decline + injuries for years.
• Seattle’s system isn’t built for him the way McVay’s was.
• I wouldn’t draft him inside the top-40 WRs in fantasy. Even if he starts well, can he hold up?
