Gotcha. I mean, itβs still a horrific law and I can see how easy it would be to manipulate it.
Gotcha. I mean, itβs still a horrific law and I can see how easy it would be to manipulate it.
Itβs dumb requirement - so easy to interpret in bad faith. I didnβt realize laws like this existed. π€’
Iβm just boggled trying to noodle through this.
Identity theft can be a felony, tooβ¦ if the victim gets shot by someone else while Iβm committing fraud against them, is that death penalty eligible?
Wait, so if I were to sit in my own room doing all the illegal drugs that donβt immediately impact others (secondhand smoke, etc), and someone in the same room with me but not engaged with what Iβm doing has a heart attack and diesβ¦ death penalty?
Sherlock, the red husky, and Watson, the black and tan Doberman, lay peacefully near each other while I work. Sherlock is on a leash inside the house because heβs an escape artist and thereβs some activity going on with the doors. Watson never leaves my side, so the doors can be wide open with a squirrel tap dancing upside down and sheβll just bark from her spot by me.
These last six months have been full of learnings. Stuff like how to remove appliances, pull up flooring, remove toilets, cap off plumbing, change out light fixtures, install sub flooring, seal walls, lay new flooringβ¦. Soon to install doors and siding!
Feeling like a badass. πͺAnd hi from dogs.
A red husky named Sherlock, Monsieur le Floof to his family, is diligently applying himself to helping with the renovations of a family house. Heβs pleased with himself and the beautiful hole he dug, with a ring of dirt around his snoot while he stares at the camera to check that the human holding it is appropriately appreciative of his efforts. She is.
Hello frens! Iβm dropping in to report that the sun is shining and there exists a happiest boy in all the land. Literally IN the land.
I am plotting how to encourage him to help me with the garden beds.
Clemenza, a very large Doberman puppy, is enjoying a nice tasty black Kong toy.
Weβll get there. But, uh. If yβall donβt mind, save up some of the juiciest stories for when Iβm finally done with this stuff. Whoβs got puppies or kittens? Who participated in Beargrease? Did we go Bleral?
Also, hereβs Clemenza. Heβll be 7 months on Thursday and heβs far bigger than his daddy.
Unfortunately, it has fallen on us to do all of the work without help. Long story. No, thereβs no alternative. We tried. Thereβs either no one willing to take on the job and sell everything or no money to pay for it.
Five 30yd dumpsters (and a half) later, I see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Coming up for air to say: hi! I miss you all and hope everyone is doing okay considering⦠(waving at everything)
My usual end of year work stress has been compounded by spending every weekend at my MILβs house trying to clear it out so it can be cleaned and fixed and sold.
Sending lots of love. Iβm so sorry. π
Do I have any friends who are knowledgeable about Ford vehicles? Specifically, 2000 Ford Expedition XLT 5.4L 4WD? Whatβs this thing called where the oil is coming out of the engine block?
Always baby!
I just had the thought of Kieran riding one of those stair lifts up and down and it made me giggle. Like he would even cooperate!
How old is Gustav now?
Watson keeps running down like an idiot and has wiped out a few times. Scares me every time. We taught Clemenza to go down at our side to try to avoid that whole βIβm a ping pong ball WHEEEEEβ thing that Monty did. She didnβt accept gravity or physics, just threw herself down.
And theyβre too big to put in air jail now. π«
π€£ Iβm struggling with tug because Clem has decided my pant legs are tug toys. And I have to pry his jaws from my leg. Gotta get this boy in some kind of job training classes. Heβs relentless.
SAME. Whatβs cool, though, is my dude has changed his training practices with him because itβs so clear you need to handle him with a bit more care and gentleness, so heβs defaulting to treats. Weβve had disagreements on how to raise Dobermans. Iβm winning.
A canine tooth from a puppy.
Finding teeth is like finding treasure for me. I think itβs because it still hurts that Monty passed too quickly for me get a paw print, so having something tangible from my babies means so much.
Actively watching - my yard isnβt fenced, so theyβre always leashed, but even when we go to SniffSpots, they get my full attention and active participation because otherwise they find things and I have to be close enough to intercept.
YES, the big feelings! He also loves with his entire body. Sweet little soul, heβs such a darling. He trusts me so completely and does anything I want him to do, like he desperately wants my approval, and of course I give it. He is so much fun to work with.
IT IS SO DIFFERENT. Heβs definitely a giant goofball. Heβs, um, also? A little bit of a weenie. All my girls have been stoic, fierce, stubborn, but he screams when Watson bites the air inches from his face. No contact has been made, but it sounds like heβs been disemboweled. Freaks me out EVERY TIME
*must be - what a funny autokarrot
I will inform the Doberman that you love him. He will reciprocate, but you nut be prepared for the full body slam hug. His love hurts. π€
And all four breeds would be absolutely correct. They are lap puppies.
YASSS KING! π₯°
They are SO GOOD!!! π
Clemenza the Doberman is standing on his dog bed, and this is a close up of his cute little face with the nose perfectly posed for booping.
In conclusion, heβs rather perfect.
Clemenza tries yet another sitting position using the dog sofa, this time angled to the left.
What if he tries it sideways?
Clemenza demonstrates a version of his first sitting position, this time on the back of the dog sofa.
More? How about this pose?
