Hello friends! My name is Hannah and I would like to introduce you to the Hershey’s Challenge? What is it exactly? Well I’ll tell ya! The Hershey’s Challenge is an acting exercise we did in my commercial acting class. We were given an ad read for Hershey’s syrup with NO DIRECTION. After we got to read over our scripts, our teacher’s son showed us how it was meant to be done. For this challenge, I will be providing you with the exact same script I was given with no direction. Your job is to give me a read of this script with how YOU think it would normally sound. You can print it, out mark it up, do whatever. And feel free to ad lib but don’t change the script too much Then next Friday, I will do a recording of how we did this read in class. And THEN I want you to do the read again with the direction I’ll later provide. It’s not a contest, there’s no prize. This is just a commercial acting exercise, and I want you to have just as much fun with it as I did! Post your reads in the replies so I can hear them! Have fun!
