It feels like the closest there's been is actually Cameo. I know it's not the same thing, but they did have an ad side of the business (that they got in trouble for) and you can imagine if they'd had their feet on the ground/been better managed this might have been an area they could have grown into

This is a fascinating thread. If someone was to build a tool/platform/app to try and achieve this would "big podcast" - acast etc have any issue with it?
