Good thread on the masculinization of coding work, and how "AI agents" deepen the idea that coding as an IC is wholly individualistic.
That's the rub, though, isn't it? AI agents are secretaries, mothers, girlfriends, or mammies. Fix my code, book my flight, take care of me, love me and talk to me, and be something I can exercise my domination over.
