Plus experience with the foundational elements of human subjects research, like research ethics, experience with regulatory compliance (IRB), and participant recruitment and retention, which are so important to learn for independent research.
The CRC will gain experience interacting with AYAs with eating disorders, as well as hands-on experience with cognitive neuroscience methods (fMRI, neurocognitive tasks), clinical interviews (EPSI-CRV), and ambulatory assessments (EMA, neurocog tasks).
My lab is running 2 studies in the space of developmental computational psychiatry & eating disorders. One examines the neurocognitive underpinnings of risky decision-making and their links to real-world symptoms in AYAs, and the other examines the development of exploration in AYAs.

This is quite damaging to research and to individuals.
