I'd love to see this. Any info on this talk would be greatly appreciated.

Created by Google and named to go that's is the only language that is not Google-able. Everyone just patched it to golang to fix that. :p
I'm a bit concerned with how few people will actually get the reference. Love the hat!
Well, JSON stands for JavaScript object Notation. It does have an unfair advantage.
That being said there are libraries that make it easier depending what you're trying to do, or toolings.
Yeah that's the crux of it, it's definitely worth it and makes a much better product but such a time sink. 😭😭
Good for you. I find editing so tedious, and start to rethink everything in the novel. :)
I would also add that at a certain level the language matters much less than understanding the problem space, what technologies you'd use to bring about a solution. At the end of the day every CRUD Rest API solves the same problem. You should be able to explain how to approach it no matter the tech
So to give context. I have done Java for 10-15 years, I've done python for multiple years but never really in a very professional capacity though it finds its way in every job. Go for 5ish years. At this point I don't think i'm amazing at any of them but they are all tools to solve problems.
I've never heard of the book, but the title is amazing.
It's not an uncommon problem. A good interview would be language agnostic. The other question is do you want to code or solve problems? There is a career path that isn't tied to coding. Understand the customer needs, architectural design are all very valuable imo.
I'm glad you guys decided to use @sessionize.com. They helped us put together several free OSS conferences at no charge and have been very supportive of FLOSS in general. :)
What ai site did you use, out of curiosity?
It doesn't like a bloated framework. So opinionated framework Luke rails, Django, spring just don't get much traction.
The standard lib is also a lot more powerful than most other languages so the appeal and need of those frameworks isn't as prevalent in go.

It depends how you set it up. I have every test bring up containers and tear down. You can also have shared containers and use transactions to reset. Overall it's not too bad but a mock test will obviously be faster. The big win is that it's a consistent pattern for dev and cicd using the same config
Have you looked at testcontainers they make your life a lot easier. :)
Vu sur FB.
Enough said.
That's basically me always. Or buying the game when it comes out and not touching it till 10 years later.
Are you taking any fun twist to it? Like Firefly was basically a space Western.
I've been slowly dipping my toes into creating writing. I love fantasy and sci-fi in general, time paradoxes and alternative history.
I haven't seen much Westerns in writing or on TV in a while. That sounds fun, though.
So natural selection?
she will most definitely not get any ideas..... or will she? 🙈
www.youtube.com/watch?v=1I1h... As a technologist, you always build new products but are always surprised on the uses people find for them. They built twitter to talk about your day and they used it for social change. They built an ipad and... well yeah that. #apple #funny
Who was his mentee?
Amazing series. It's too bad the author passed away I loved his writing style.
Definitely one of my favorite books. I love Dan Brown's style and how well researched they all are.
Especially after binging Buffy and Angel, Anne Rice's dark mind was deliciously seductive and so layered compared to anything else that was on mainstream tv.
I loved all of Anne Rice books, particularly the Vampire Chronicles (Interview with a vampire and so on...)
I was having difficulties writing microfiction, until I started using a larger font.
I’ve only been on BlueSky for a couple of weeks, but I’ve already noticed—the skies are blue, the pastures are green, and the writers… well, red.
