This Canada Goose let me get so close that when he stood up and spread his massive #WingsOpenNotFlying, one broke the frame.

I decided I liked how the missing tip accentuates the size and the light/shadows highlight its form.

Talk to me, please..”

First panel: “It’s not you Mako.” “...” “It’s me. It is always me.” Ami puts her head in her hands and audibly sighs. Mako tightening her embrace, stroking her back for comfort. Second panel: “I don’t even understand why I confessed to you in the first place.” Mako looking extremely hurt, slowly taking her hand off Ami’s arm. Ami noticing the sudden out of character withdrawal. Third panel: Ami suddenly realizes her poor wording and jumps to apologize immediately. “No, wait! I’m sorry, please, I’m sorry.” “That’s not how I meant to phrase that!” Ami looking hesitantly at Mako, her hands tentatively making their way towards her.

Did I deserve to be shamed and told that my knowledge level is worse than a middle schooler's and that it's "as basic to biology as multiplication table for math"? According to 5 different chemist profs I've had, yes apparently! And funniest of all I remember fucking NOTHING from their classes now

Am I really an uneducated moron for not knowing acids formulas perfectly off of the top of my head. That we were never told to recite before class and was just a barely fucking related question to the lab work that was specifically about relationships of different substrates to same enzymes.

If not just ridicule. Everyone I knew who wasn't passionate about chemistry were complaining about it all the time. And we're all like. Just biology majors. And I get it chemistry is v important for biology and all, that's why it's mandatory, but this just made me want to avoid it at all cost.

Like. No other prof from any other discipline has been calling people stupid for having any gaps in knowledge about it. No other discipline expected you to go above and beyond in memorising EVERYTHING even barely related to class subjects. Questions were met with confusing at best explanations

As I'm riding towards my last biochem class, relieved that I won't have to deal with it anymore... I'm wondering if it's common to have everything specifically chemistry related in uni to be a fucking miserable experience to everyone who is not specifically a chemist/passionate about chemistry or?
