Two of my artworks are on display all month in Berlin, Germany, and Quebec City, Canada. "Impressionist Irish Woodland" is being exhibited at the Nicoletta Gallery in Berlin. "Wildflowers Last Bloom" is being shown at the Galerie Le Chien d'Or in Quebec City.
This one’s called "Reflections of Little Venice, London." I made it after watching flower boxes and facades wobble on the canal — the water translates them into shifting patches of red, green and teal. It presents that quiet moment where the ordinary dissolves into something almost musical.
A wild little celebration of colour from the Irish countryside for International Women's Day.
“Wild Summer Bouquet” was inspired by a roadside meadow here in Ireland where magenta wildflowers weave through tall green grasses and golden blooms catch the glow of the late afternoon sun.
Beginning Monday, March 9 and running for two weeks, my artwork, "Impressionist Irish Woodland," will be running around London wrapped around one of the iconic London Black Cabs. My artwork, "Wild Summer Bouquet," will be on display inside the cab in this innovative art showcase by @plogixgallery.
The days are stretching their golden fingers a little farther now, and along the old stone walls of the Irish countryside, the daffodils are doing what they always do. They bloom. There’s something deeply reassuring about these bright splashes of yellow rising up against weathered stone walls.
