Aren't Montana and California looking into rewriting the definition of a corporation such that corporations no longer have the 'power' to make political donations?

Ok BlueSky, here is a clip of a Bluefin Trevally and a Goldsaddle Goatfish that appear to be accompanying a Whitemouth Moray Eel. I'm not sure if this is normal, but they sure like each other's company. Any marine biologists out there? This was #Maui. #MarinePhotography #MarineWildlife #photography
A snowy Egret walks elegantly toward the camera. in a shallow blue ocean. His nuptial plume is prominent. A small, foamy wave breaks at the very top of the photo.
A proud #SnowyEgret for Alt #BirdoftheDay #LongNecks. The main theme today is #Corvidae.
Wishing you a beautiful Tuesday!

It's #RockinTuesday. So here's a short video of the Nakalele Blowhole on the north coast of Maui. A blowhole forms when a lava tube extends to the ocean where waves break into the open end of the tube and force water (and air) out of any cracks or holes in the roof of the tube. #photography #geology
Thanks. But as you know, much of the credit goes to the subject when photographing birds. ๐
Thanks.
Given my experience, an ear flick, while painful, may not suffice. May I suggest a baseball bat, or better yet, a cattle prod!
a Northern Flicker, a medium-sized, brown woodpecker, perched vertically on the rough bark of a tree trunk. The bird has distinctive black barring on its brown back and prominent black spots on its light tan chest and belly. A bold black crescent mark is visible across its upper breast. The bird's head is gray with a brown crown, and the male in the picture displays a red mustache stripe. This specific coloration indicates it is a red-shafted flicker, the form found in the western United States. The background is softly blurred.
The theme for today's #BirdoftheDay as set by Rob @robcrank68.bsky.social is #SideProfiles. Here is a Northern Flicker, specifically a male of the "Red-shafted" form, identified by its red "mustache" stripe.

A draft to support a war with only 27% approval just might be a bridge too far. We shall see.
Outstanding shot Michael! Where was this taken?
For #BlueskyMonday. This snowy egret and white ibis were interested in the same food source. I watched them circle each other to see what the other was finding. And then get mad that the other was successful. #photography #wildlife #EastCoastKion #birds #egrets #ibis
A single male wood duck swims from right to left in clear blue water, with ripples all around. Its beak is touching the water, forming ripples, and is fully reflected in the water surface below.
For so many of the hashtags, here's a pretty wood duck I saw on Friday ๐

Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #SideProfiles. With so many shots to chose from, I've selected a #bird that doesn't get much attention, but should. The African Openbill lives and hunts along the banks of rivers in #Africa. This one was in #Botswana. #BirdPhotography #photography
A European robin (Erithacus rubecula) in side view, perched atop a post.
Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #SideProfiles and the Alt theme is #Robins, so here's a two-for-one.

Here is one of the better ones.
Viewing the top of Bishop Peak from Cerro San Luis mountain, there is a cloud sitting on top of Bishop Peak that is gray and resembles smoke in its color and form. It looks like the mountain could be erupting. Otherwise, the sky is blue with some clouds off in the distance. The mountains and hills are green. A shadow falls across the bottom of the image, silhouetting the nearby vegetation. San Luis Obispo, California

I was amused how the cloud juxtaposed on top of Bishop Peak looked like the mountain was erupting. ๐๐ The peak is actually a volcanic plug.

There are many photogenic birds out there but the Lilac-breasted Roller is one of my favorites. I call them "Damn Birds" because it seems like every time I get one in focus, they fly away and I go "damn!" ๐ But once in awhile, they stand still!

Nice shot. I was fortunate to get several good pics in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Nice image. And with regard to the terminator as shown, if the North Pole of the Moon is at the top of the image (which I believe it to be), then this terminator is sunrise. The Moon rotates from West to East, just like the Earth.
Went for a very windy walk in the land trust preserve. (Sorry about the wind noise)
Or the infrastructure plan.
One of the best examples of an entrenched meander anywhere.
Two wading birds silhouetted by the light and reflected in the water's surface.
The theme for today's #BirdOfTheDay is #StandingInWater.
Gone for a bit of an arty one today. Two waders which I think are probably redshanks; bills a bit short for godwits.

After a response like that, Trump damn well better hope that nothing happens on US soil.
Thanks. For me, that is part of the joy of photographing nature.
Thanks Rob!
The theme for today's #BirdOfTheDay is #SteppingOut. Here's something a little different. Yes, it's a bird. No, it can't fly. But it is 'stepping out'. A Gentoo Penguin making good time across the ice on the Antarctic Peninsula. #Birds #photography #Antarctica #NaturePhotography
The moral of the story, boys and girls, is don't try to out-grift the 'grifter-in-chief'. He hates competition.
Trump is worried, and rightly so. The most recent primary elections seem to indicate a softening of support for MAGA candidates. As usual, Trump is most concerned with his own hide should both houses of Congress flip. Let's make that happen!
