I just want to make an observation. The biggest LGBTQIA+ mass lobby in history in the UK was organised by a Trans+ led org. With minimal funding. And a heap of volunteer energy. There are much more well funded LGBTQIA+ orgs that haven’t stepped up with this level of ambition.

This is why we need to support and fund Trans+ led orgs. Like @transsolidarity.bsky.social @transactualuk.bsky.social @genderedintelligence.co.uk @blossomlgbt.bsky.social @switchboard.bsky.social and the one I run @transhistoryweek.com - to name but a few.

44% of Gen-Z are willing to reject jobs that misalign with their ethics. Attracting the future leaders & top performers means creating a culture where staff know who they are wont hold them back.

It doesn't take expensive comms campaigns; sometimes just speaking authentically is enough.

We envision a world where LGBTQIA+ young adults live free from discrimination, poverty, and social disadvantage, thriving in inclusive communities where their potential is recognised, celebrated and their rights are fully realised.

Whether that’s to share our stories, support one another, or simply remind each other that no one is alone. We are able to create ripples of hope that can withstand even the harshest storms.

What matters most is how we come together during the hard times, holding onto our values and continuing to push for a future that’s safe and just for everyone.

The world can feel like a heavy place right now. When faced with rising tensions and the fear of losing the progress we’ve made. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed or anxious about what might lie ahead. But amidst all of this, there’s something powerful we can hold onto: Community.

In uncertain times, we need to find strength in each other.

(4/6) Now, we offer #free support through #mentoring, workshops, & socials to empower our members to overcome isolation, grow, & establish stable, fulfilling careers. Our affirming #intersectional approach enables them to navigate challenges, instilling confidence, pride, and resilience.

(3/6) By our 5th birthday, we had become an organisation driving change for a better future for queer young adults. Yet our mission remained as strong as ever: relieve poverty by breaking down systemic & interpersonal barriers to opportunity that disproportionately affect #LGBTQIA+ young adults.

(2/6) We were was founded in 2019 as a #grassroots initiative run from the homes of passionate volunteers determined to transform how young #queer people connected. What started as a simple idea grew to tackle the significant barriers to stability, opportunity, & inclusion our audience faced.
