Here in Colorado, we've had to cull 11 million chickens in the last 4 years. It has infected and killed cattle, dogs, and cats. Cats have between a 60% and 90% mortality rate from it, often within 24 hours.
Ten poultry workers have contracted it.
The big fear is when/if it jumps human to human.
Going to take years to complete it, no doubt.
