This. I’ve got some of retained operation gas still; it’s the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced 😬. Hopefully dissipates soon 🤞

You and me both! Wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. 🤞
They’re great! On a par with a duck caller whistle. Must haves on the archery field!

A whistling longbow arrow; port orford cedar shaft, helical fletches, Bearpaw 250grn point and a cresting scheme loosely based on a rainbow eucalyptus; a tree I have spent a decade trying to grow from seed and last year I succeeded.
Will loose it in a few weeks when I can shoot outside again!
Stunning 👏

Dusk with tree, moon and crow
Went avant garde this year with haggis and….Hibiki…that’s ok isn’t it?
My family lived in a house just near it in the 40’s and 50’s!
So sad
View of canal with boats on the right framed by two modern office buildings. Low mist obscures the distance and blue sky is beginning to appear through it

Kew Gardens Saturday afternoon
Utterly gorgeous 😍
Nice town St Albans, I’ve friends who live there.
Yep summers are nice here although it can get really humid; but you can sit out ‘till late in the evening and that’s 👌!
When I was younger we never saw foxes in the city; even magpies were considered an exotic beast!
No I’m in West London! Rest of my family live in Fife but we moved south a long time ago.
Regularly get parakeets in the garden here and would love an Asian Pheasant! As would the neighbourhood fox probably….
I image searched them and there were lots of red ones but some bright orange too. We had a dayglo yellow parakeet in the garden here once; bright as a hi-viz jacket!
Haven’t heard of those so had to look them up… red or orange? Can’t decide! Wonderful!
Brilliant 👏!
True! This one was strutting around, not afraid of anything! Amazing to look at!
Thanks for the info👍, wasn’t sure what kind of bird it was.The pics don’t really do it justice, the plumage was iridescent! Stunning!
Multicoloured pheasant like bird standing on dead leaves. It has a speckled brown tail, bright red belly, blue and purple back, green neck and gold crest.
Close up of pheasant
Multicoloured pheasant like bird in Kew Gardens yesterday. Very tame and inquisitive. Saw one there 15 years ago thereabouts.
Agreed. Although to be fair and to my great surprise, the progressives got more applause than the conservatives. Can’t say I expected that.
Fiona Bruce should be removed as host of this “performance”. Allows the right wing representatives to rant and shuts down those that counter them. QT is a disgrace.
2 parakeets, one in flight, the other sitting on a bird feeder with a lantern above them in a garden
Parakeets in the garden. Again.
It’s beautiful! After many years of trying I have finally managed to grow one of these from a seed to a sapling! 10cm tall after 6 months!
