A new junction coming soon at the Scawby and Broughton crossroads will use smart traffic lights to keep the A18 moving - responding to traffic in real time, not a fixed timer.
Plans to strengthen the long-term future of the historic Isle of Axholme have been formally approved by North Lincolnshire Council.
The decision opens the door for closer working with farmers, landowners, communities, residents and environmental partners.
