We had a great time yesterday visiting the Wakefield Expo. It was fantastic to see so many brilliant exhibitors, meet some lovely people, and enjoy such a positive atmosphere.

A great event held at the fabulous WX venue in Wakefield. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

Tracey, our Corporate Lead, had a wonderful time joining the Sunset Stroll on Saturday - walking in memory of loved ones while having fun and raising vital funds for The Prince of Wales Hospice. A huge thank you also goes to the fundraising team and volunteers who made this possible.

Today marks the autumn equinox when the year shifts and the season turns. It’s a reminder that fundraising is about shifts too – from insight to action, from ideas to results, from potential to progress.

At Good Fundraising, we help organisations make those shifts with confidence.

We recently delivered fundraising training with the team at @leedsmuseums.bsky.social.

The core message we shared: everyone is a fundraiser. From front-of-house staff to curators, every interaction helps build relationships and support for the organisation.

This afternoon we had a wonderful time celebrating our Bid Writing Lead Cath’s birthday with a delicious lunch.

We are now back in full swing at the office delivering client work.

We had a fantastic lunch yesterday at the newly renovated café in the @ncmme.bsky.social, enjoying both the fresh new look and the warm atmosphere. We are proud to support our local charities and the meaningful work they do in our community.

At Good Fundraising we believe flexibility helps our team do their best work. Our director, Cath, has recently been working from Wales, showing that impact is not tied to one location. With the right tools and trust, great fundraising can happen anywhere.

We loved being on site with The Prince of Wales Hospice yesterday and joining in their “Pride” themed afternoon, hosted by the amazing wellbeing team. A big thank you to the hospice staff, volunteers, patients, and families for letting us be part of such a joyful day! #makingadifferencetogether

Great to be at Leeds Minster on Sunday! After the service, the congregation gathered for a lovely “bring and share” lunch, followed by a fundraising strategy workshop led by our fantastic colleagues, Cath L. and Cath S.

Glass checks continue to support the ongoing care of the garden, helping preserve these memories for future generations.

This weekend, we had the honour of attending the Glass Checks Commemorative Event at the @ncmme.bsky.social, marking 10 years of the Memorial Garden.

It was a moving day of remembrance - celebrating the courage, hard work, and spirit of those who shaped our mining heritage.

Carrying her own pack throughout, she tackled tough terrain and was rewarded with spectacular scenery across the Yorkshire Dales, including the world-famous Wensleydale and the picturesque Swaledale.
