I keep this saved because it's a great example that GW's sculpts are fine but the paint scheme used on the boxes is what makes the faces look bad.

Thank you! My goal is to have them done in time for a narrative game in early February, but I'm also going to be taking the next 2 weeks off of painting to go on a trip. So we shall see!

I pretty much like to believe most of these takes, esp. regarding the Emperor. More sensible to believe he was a despit with great PR rather than an ancient immortal who procrastinated his master plan for several dozen millennia and passed as mortal through the ages while also being 14 feet tall.
