my honeymoon has reminded me how grateful i am that i started ED recovery 8.5 years ago.

My home office has been a total disaster (piles of clothes that need to be donated, tons of unopened mail, clutter that needed to be a thrown away) for several months — and today, I finally have almost completely cleaned it out. AuDHD + depression make cleaning so hard, and I’m so proud of myself 🥹

Thank you! 🩷 and I think that makes so much sense! At the end of the day we all just want to feel seen & known — and trying to figure out a career/life path is really vulnerable/scary so I think it’s so understandable wanting validation and support along the way to feel like you’re getting it right
Fellow writers: writing 300 words in a day is just as much of an accomplishment as writing 3000 words in a day!!!
A few months into my own therapy/ED recovery journey, I was teaching my mom about a skill/concept I learned in therapy, and she asked if I ever thought about becoming a therapist! That coupled with loving supporting my friends made me think it was worth exploring

It’s going 🤪 one chapter down…and after writing said chapter, discovered a plot hole from book 1 that I need to fix before continuing writing book 2 — at least it’s an easy fix but still 🫠
