why not both?
why not both?

a pair of wild Yellow Jackets appeared
I must be in that 1% minority that liked Tweetsie 12βs broken whistle
hi train.
bye train
realizing i should probably make a list of steam locomotives that were part of the WNY&TBβs original roster prior to going bankrupt in 1960 and before the end of Steam and what happened to them
a Pacific and a Northern of the modern day WNY&TB doubleheading an excursion cross the trestle
Quiet Zone? Never heard of em
Lowkey, i heavily considered adding one of those so that 587 wonβt be by itself in the mikado category of the collection lol
for short, my fictional has an L1 4-8-4 from the Cotton Belt (itβs one of 819βs sisters), an L1 Streamlined Hudson from the C&O, and an L1b Hudson from the Nickel Plate. all of them are recognized by their numbers since theyβre each an L1 type
i will never comprehend how my fictional has three different L types in the collection/active roster and different wheel arrangements
The Northern Pacific Railway Museum in Toppenish, Wash., has been working on NP 1364 for over a decade, and last weekend it ran under its own power for the first time in 73 years. railfan.com/northern-pac...

peak!
I have a pair running on my fictional in Trainz!! They only see use behind the steamers on excursions, but they do go out on commuter service though
and engine/car facilities after steam service ended in the 1950s. Here both locomotives are seen heading back to Jersey City Terminal after a long round trip excursion to Bay Head Jct on the NY&LB.
WNY&TBβs 3713 and 490 double heading on ex CNJ trackage. in the alternate timeline, the CNJβs Jersey City terminal area and engine shops were still in service alongside the Lackawannaβs Hoboken terminal, but it rarely saw any action. This was a rarity to see steam return to the terminal (cont)
Yus!!!
how ironic that my GS-1 and GS-2 met up with 4449 while heading to San Diego
Chicago excursion
a promotional gathering for June!
MRS,TBL, FBL, and SJBL. I still go back and watch Tales of a Railyard somedays to just reminisce

along with the railroadβs pair of U34CHs #4175 and #4151 with a set of the railroadβs business car and excursion fleet to pull the excursion. Seen departing Cumberland in the morning ahead of schedule and picking up speed for the uphill climb
CSX wanted an excursion train to run out of Cumberland over Sandpatch Grade, so they contacted the WNY&TB to see if they had an engine that would be suitable for the run, low and behold, the railroad sent freshly restored 4-6-2 #3713 to the area (cont)
