I flew down to south Texas today to do my job - investigate why people are dying in ICE detention centers.
I was just illegally denied entry to Dilley Detention Center. Because they have something to hide.
Democrats are fighting for working families, for seniors, for students, For You.
We want an Arizona We Can Afford, not someday, but now.
How? -Our priorities this legislative session are to
👩🎓🧑🎓invest in public education,
🛑fight corporate greed, and
🚑 make healthcare affordable.
Corporations that make big profits are able to use so many loopholes in AZ tax laws that they pay only the $50 minimum corporate income tax.
Total revenue - expenses = profit.
Profit - unfair loopholes = taxable income.
States’ rights are fundamental to our individual pursuits of happiness.
It’s a fundamental value for Americans.
But Trump ignores others’ rights from the people who work for him that don’t get paid, to withholding funding to states if he doesn’t like the state, to invading foreign countries.
In AZ many big corporations pay only the min income tax, $50. They get so many loopholes that they do not pay for the benefits they use -public roads, public safety, public education.
