Here is an early flowering tree that you might see in yards and on the edges of roads - but it is not a #nativeplant. This is ornamental pear (Pyrus calleryana), often called ‘Bradford’ pear. Over the last 10-20 years, it has become a pest as fruits were produced and spread by wildlife.
