Twelve years ago, to the day, I sat in this pub with a pint, and scribbled nonsense.
Some of you liked it, so twelve years on, I'm still at it.
No cake or candles this year, I'm in the cinema viewing the new releases for tomorrow.
Thank you all, you're why I do this.
Scottish Opera offers hugely discounted tickets to people under the age of 26. In fact most of the theatres here do, usually for around ยฃ10. Which means you could see a whole live show for less than the cost of a ticket to one of Timothee Chalametโs films. Just saying.

We have a housing crisis in Edinburgh, and yet there's a block of flats lying empty in Craigentinny.
This is an embarrassment.
As ever, a powerful and timely message in Edinburgh, we stand for peace, people, and compassion.

I don't think BBC is interested in highlighting life in Scotland, I don't think they understand it. I can't name a recent BBC Scotland thing I watched
My experience is that they are hard to get in contact with and have been pretty uninterested in sharing local stories. I had much more success with STV. They were more approachable
Amazing tour of Port of Leith Distillery, staff were really great and knew tons. Def recommend it as an experience in Edinburgh.

Sad times for those who work in journalism, but I agree with Michael, more focus needs to be on stories rather than unreadable websites.
It's no exaggeration to say that this, the news that stinkbug eggs look exactly like a hape of creamy pints, is one of the most impactful things that's ever happened in the history of Irish posting. A dazzling event. A nuclear level revelation.
