Cannot help but feel these opening rounds are just going to result largely in draws and come the back end of the season the collected batting and bowling points will make the difference.

I wonder if Surrey are regretting their lack of first class spinners given we lost Virdi and Moriarty who could take wickets and with the opening rounds looking flat and dry.
