I reckon in the years I commute heavily and work in office 4 days a week (so... most years), my bike is the equivalent of a £3-4k pa tax free payrise.
I've got more capable, more expensive bikes but my commuter is my favourite
One of mine and @alexnurse.bsky.social's favourite exercises. Figuring out how much money our pretty inexpensive/modest/battered commuter bikes have saved us. I've had mine 16 years now, daily commuted on it for at least 10 of those.
Bizarrely not one mention of cycling to work.
You can even get a tax break to do it.

How old's the MacBook? Sequoia might be slow because of the leftover memory (each OS seems to get bigger and bigger) I rolled it back to Ventura and it's running like new. But mine's a 2019 Pro.
