Friday the 13th is Proving Unlucky for Epstein Co-Conspirators The information revealed in the Epstein files has horrified the entire world. Although progress is slow, a reckoning seems to be unfolding.

Although progress is going more slowly than citizens would like, there does appear to be forward momentum regarding prosecution and consequences for those named in the Epstein Files.

a cartoon dog is sitting at a table in front of a fire with the words it 's fine everything is fine ALT: a cartoon dog is sitting at a table in front of a fire with the words it 's fine everything is fine

I saw insects flying around outside today.
The temperature was 2C here in the Laurentides. In mid December.

I checked the historical data for what the weather was like on Dec 17 when I moved here in 2013: -19C during the day, -27C overnight.

Nothing strange at all, here.

All good!! There are a lot of great articles about them. There are a lot of medicinal mushrooms that are used in Eastern medicine. I've only used reishi so far, but there are so many to delve into.

Cancer Researchers Present Turkey Tail Findings in Japan | Bastyr University Bastyr University professor and oncology researcherΒ Cynthia Wenner, PhD,Β recently traveled to Tokyo to present findings about natural cancer therapies. Dr. Wenner spoke to about 100 clinical oncologis...

No fear of death necessary: they aren't considered edible because they have a thick, leathery texture that few humans could chew through, but they're highly medicinal. In Japan, they're used in conjunction with chemo and immunotherapy for cancer treatment.

Escapism at its best.
I'm knitting in bed, watching Tales from the Green Valley with the sparrow on my shoulder and the rabbit by my side. Learning vital life skills from the 1620s may come in handy in the near future, all things considered.

Book 2 of the Khumalo trilogy is in pre-launch on Kickstarter!
If you haven't read Book 1 yet (Breath, Warmth & Dream), I HIGHLY recommend doing so now.
It's one of the most beautiful fantasy novels I've ever read, and the opportunity to spend more time with Khumalo and Amnandi makes me so. happy.

Exactly this. I had a lovely friendship with an elderly neighbour who only spoke Mandarin. We managed to communicate just fine, and shared many cups of tea and various baked goods over the years.

The Cage

It's sunny outside.
It's just a sun
but men look at it
and then they sing.

I don't know about the sun.
I know of the angel's melody
and the hot sermon
of the last wind
I know how to scream until dawn
when death poses naked
in my shadow.
