For reasons mostly unclear, after three and a half years I decided to make physical CDs of 'Last Escape' - our Resident Evil 3 rock opera.
You can pick one up on at toothdrinker.bandcamp.com if you're so inclined.

This is where your Harry Potter money goes
Bits of that supreme court ruling are simply false. Sex is objectively not binary; there are people who are in between. Biological characteristics are not plain, unambiguous or self-explanatory. This is a bunch of old people pretending science isn't true because they'd prefer the world to be simple.
fuck this horrible, bigoted country
Pics or it didn't happen!
That's fair. There's something there for sure, particularly in overall tone. It's just buried under a lot of janky gameplay sadly!
I agree slightly less than you folks. I found it wore thin pretty quickly and was a little half baked.
But it is absolutely worth ยฃ4.50 and an interesting curio - the aesthetic has heavy NiGHTS vibes, which is more than enough reason to give it a punt.
We are so underground we don't even have a Wrapped. Legendary.
a hobbit-y looking dude holds up a nightmarish Sonic the Hedgehog ice cream
Living my best life with this delicious abomination
Cheesecake and Unto Others - that sounds like my dream night!
Iโm worried that kids today are growing up without a video game series that teaches them 13 or 15 similar sounding skate punk songs
A grown man's collection of figurines of Metal Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog, lined up on a shelf of Mega Drive games
Probs pretty obvious at this point that two things I enjoy are metal and Sonic.
So, fittingly, here's a shelf of Metal Sonics.
*its - blame autocorrect!
Vinyl record of Sega Saturn game NIGHTS Into Dreams
Apparently it's been 30 years since the Sega Saturn came out, so here's one of my fave soundtracks from the era: NiGHTS Into Dreams.
While I'm terrible at the game, it's aesthetic and soundtrack are some of my faves in all of gaming.
If you're a fan of Iron Maiden, you should check out our very extensive Maiden podcast where we go through every album in too much detail!
Exactly. Display box, get your sticky mits on the controller.
I'm still gutted I missed out on the PS1 styled DS4 years ago, so am fervently refreshing stock checkers for this one..!
Come on, you've got to play! If I manage to get my hands on one, it's coming straight out the box and in to my hands.
This is extremely cool
Two records laid out side by side, one of 1993s Sonic Spinball and another for Sonic Frontiers
Yeah sure, no one *needs* the soundtrack to Sonic Spinball on vinyl, but here we are all the same.
Also picked up Sonic Frontiers at the same time as it was on sale. Because why not?
The original GBA form factor is definitely the king, but I always feel weird playing GB / GBC games on it due to bulky cartridges and a dinky screen size.
Then again, this is how I've ended up with way too many handhelds - by being fussy. Irony is I mostly play the Pocket these days!
Top tier aesthetic, top tier game.
It's also good fun and surprisingly doable to mod them yourselves. I've ended up doing a few over the years - these are the most recent ones.
I do now however have more Gameboys than strictly necessary..!
Writing, recording and finishing something so ridiculous a concept still remains one of my biggest achievements.
That I managed to convince a bunch of great singers and guitarists to help me out was incredible.
Anyway, hope you listen and enjoy!
RE influence aside, musically the album is my love letter to the more bombastic and over the top side of rock and metal; Meat Loaf, Queensryche, Savatage, Ayreon, Avantasia etc.
Of course, recording an album for the first time in my living room meant the production values didn't quite match..!
Somehow it has been three whole years since we put our debut album, 'Last Escape' - a rock opera based on Capcom's Resident Evil 3.
It's a little rough around the edges, but I'm dead proud of how it turned out all the same.

The 'I AM THE INTIMIDATOR' album is genuinely one of the best things I've listened to this year.
And then earlier this year, we released the single 'Flicker' - our spacey, chuggy ode to 'what ifs?'
FFO: Devin Townsend, Ayreon, existential crises

Next up, we did the theme song for Dead Good Comics' Octobriana and The Underground - we were super stoked to be part of it.

Second out was a weird as hell EP featuring covers of Shania Twain, a Sonic 3 / The Jetzons track and Castlevania's 'Bloody Tears'.
The middle one's a bit janky, but tracks 1 and 3 are good fun.

Our debut was a rock opera concept album based on Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
Like a budget 'Bat Out of Hell', it features amazing singers and guitarists from Seven Sisters Ring of Gyges, Fyrdsman, Hubert's Friend etc.
FFO: Meat Loaf, Queensryche, Ayreon, Avantasia
