The garden, which I think I'll delete... I wanted somewhere where strolling and promenading could happen, but I don't think this is it. Once again I'm wishing that the Von Haunt estate lot was bigger so that I could put a decent sized castle on there AND have the gardens and maze 🥲

Yes it's so weird! In this case Patreon, Tumblr & SFS all gone... but their own website is still up (just with dead links). I downloaded from another creator who'd made a whole bunch of CC specifically to work with this creator's stuff & now that's unusable unless you have the deleted files...

Unfortunately I haven't done anything with horses since I made a bunch of tournament poses last year, so didn't notice anything was missing until just now 🤣

Oki so my extra stupid self is that I did! But then I also had to make space on my backup drive, so when I updated yesterday I made a back up of everything currently in my Mods... and then deleted all previous back-ups except for the one BEFORE the most recent back up. Which did not have horse CC 🥲

My poor ponies are bald and fugly 😞

The angels are the people on Reddit who dropped the link, I'm just resharing because there is SO much lost CC in there 🥲

There's SO much CC in there... all deleted from the original creator's Patreon and SFS 🥲

Trouble is, there was a boom in equestrian CC when Horse Ranch was released, and now a lot of those new creators are no longer active.

I accidentally deleted ALL my horse CC 😅 I was clearing Mod space a few weeks ago & I think what happened is I deleted the horse folder, thinking that it was old deco horse/pre-Horse Ranch stuff... I assume that was when I deleted it, anyway. Checked my recycling bin & it's not in there 🥲

I reeeaaally wish I could do timeskips & I love the idea of a generational story, but every time something happened I'd think... this character would have a reaction to this, I want to show it. And the story was quite constant with its happenings 🤣🤣

I love still moments! I learnt about ma when reading an article about Ghibli... it made so much sense, explaining that that was where a lot of the charm lay.

And it's cool that you've found the perfect medium between gameplay & storytelling! I imagine it's quite fun deciding which parts go where.

It feels very telling that language and sexuality seem to be the only things ever deemed obscene, while orgies of violence are outright encouraged.

Culturally and emotionally that can't be at all healthy.

What are some 'fun facts' of your Sims story/stories?

Mine are:
- it began as a "what if" AU based on a novel I'd been writing
- it took me 4 years & 600+ posts to tell it but I only covered 4 months in their timeline 🤣
- I planned the ending & some key points, but most was made up as I went along
