So, had my first really weak book release. Kinda deflating, but it’s helped me decide what to work on next! Started working on a story based on the concept of a failed experimental cat girl. Hopefully people enjoy it! Watch for snippets here and there :)
The question is, what to work on writing next: the supernatural themed paranormal monster girl story, the “failed experiment catgirl” story, the sequel to Monster Girl Sponsor, or book 3 of Savior Complex. I’m leaning towards the catgirl, haha.

A fun thing about being a super small time author is that I can notice on my publishing dashboard when someone starts reading one of my books. I noticed today that someone read through the first three books of my first series rapid fire. It’s a good feeling seeing someone obviously enjoying my work!

A big thank you to everyone who has read any of my books recently! The first week of release for Shattered Chains has been the biggest I’ve had since starting to publish. Even though I miss the fast feedback from writing a web series, it’s gratifying to see people reading what I put out now!
It’s so difficult after finishing a release to not immediately dive headfirst into the next piece. I know that if I keep the pace I’ll burn out, but that dopamine hit of finishing is so good…

For me, ‘porn’ seems almost derogatory for most writing, unless it’s bad fanfic sex. No plot, just banging.
Erotica is sex and plot. Yes, there’s sex, but the story is there too.
Smut is a middle ground, playful and a bit silly, but not saying “hey, this is just filth to get off to.”
Okay, the airbrush is amazing. This would have taken forever by hand, and looked way worse. 15 minutes and the base coat is on. It’ll take some practice to do details, but wow!
Last day off for the holidays before going back to work. Part of my brain says “ohh, good time to do a bit of writing, right?”. But a louder part says “No, video games.” Welp. 😂
