hello! an update since i’ve been sorely inactive. i started my new job, and i work graveyard shifts, so i am literally sleeping all day lol.

i had to pull my big girl pants on. i’m in the process of getting an apartment. my first one ever!

Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor book cover

I’m starting Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor today. I found it at Half Price Books and instantly captivated by the cover. I also discovered this book was banned in Boston in 1944. It’s a most of a book at nearly 1,000 pages. Wish me luck in my reading 🥰 #booksky

Exactly. I saw the rec on TikTok bc I was wanting to dive into the horror genre more, and it was mostly just shock. I was expecting more bc i was a sociology/psychology major, and i was like ok this could be good and i was like nope 😭 this had so much more potential then what it was

Imma be honest, this was the most disgusting piece of horror I’ve ever read. It’s stuck with me because of how sick it made me, and Jesus Christ, I wish I could wash this from mind 😭
