Like ostensibly it's more work but it's OUR work for US not some chucklefuck above us. Time off whenever we want for however long we want within reason. No benefits sucks ass but I don't think it sucks more than not having autonomy. Bruh. Plus I'm sleeping with the boss so bonus.
Taking a sec to deeply appreciate how much we love being self employed. Not having to worry about our job being at the whims of some corporate BS, no HR, no one's rules but our own (and our licensing boards). No oversight. The freedom of it. We can never go back i fear...

perhaps i have not done enough therapy about my "left out" complex lol but also I know i'm not the only one that feels that way! my friends and I have specifically crafted our server cultures to make sure people's thoughts are acknowledged in some way before a new topic jumps in
feels like I walked into a room where no one is saying anything, presented my thoughts/feelings, and then other people shoved me out of the way to say their thing and the group starts talking over me while I sadly pack up my materials and leave. LMAO
mannnn I don't get server culture where contributions are just steamrolled over by a new topic/person without any acknowledgement, especially in a smaller group. drives me absolutely crazy bc it feels so rude and kind of mean to my brain.
