great, now i'm trying to keep my tears back because i'm not at home and i have to sit through two lectures before i can go home and spend the rest of the day sobbing and choking on my popcorn and chocolate cake, watching asian dramas and playing something (or maybe i'll go for a walk, not sure yet)

and my mom would wake me up with her cold hands (from being outside) tugging slightly on my ear (some tradition, not the point) and kissing me and smiling at me, but it's hard to stay happy this day when i'm away from my family in different town with no really good friends

ig i should have already gotten used to the fact that my birthday is the day everyone just keeps forgetting about over all these years but still it stings the same every year

i love this day, i really do (numbers are cute btw), it brings me back to the times when I was still living with my family

like, it was released in 1987 and, if I'm not mistaken and remember correctly, the world's progress in lockwood&co is stuck at 20th century, so yeah, that kinda makes some sense (to me...)

well, not only this song, but his others songs too

- crowd greeted my december so warmly it was cute >⁠.⁠< the couples (that were surrounding me) cuddled and it was heartwarming)

- and oh, the crowd cheered badly when the first notes of given up were played and we applauded pretty often while song was played
- also, I was really glad to hear what I've done and that I was able to sing along

and by the smiles on musicians' faces I knew that was it.... the moment I've been waiting for
- I sang the whole song because numb is what caught me and brought to linkin park (no wonder, since this song is a legend by now)

- after one more light musicians stood up for the bow and we applauded and cheered (that violinist was so graceful with the fiddlestick–), then they sat down again and so did we and someone from back rows started shouting "numb" (it wasn't played earlier and I was hoping for this song sm)

- I cried when one more light started playing because they turned on the big screen the mv (it must be mv ig) and I saw Chester and listened to the lyrics (fucking "who cares if one more light goes out, well, I do" left me sobbing and unable to sing along)
- I'm in love with drummer

- the violinist was hot and charming (he encouraged the crowd to applaud when musicians needed to catch their breath)
- kinda glad they didn't play new songs since it's a brand new era and I'm sure everyone came for the nostalgia, in honour of Chester and for the memories of their old days

- a guy proposed on the stage and she said yes while musicians played leave out all the rest on the background (the crowd was hyping sm lmao) AHAHA there was a guy in the crowd who shouted to the proposer to get the pianist and when he refused, dude said that he'll take her then LMAO

since I was born too late to hear linkin park live I compensated it by going to listen to orchestra playing their songs tonight

so, highlights of the evening:

- they played a lot of old songs (which was epic)
- the pianist was incredible (no, really, she was badass, her hair was flying) –>

since I played volleyball (well, not exactly volleyball, we were just passing) with two other students (they are cool, I've played with them before 🥺) and my whole body is warm with subtle exhaustion (makes me remember the times when I used to go on the training in winter)

went for the first pe lesson in this year–

as a result: ~1 hour of exercising (cause I was late for about 30 minutes – but who cares – walking from my faculty building) and my legs are shaking (I barely managed to go downstairs and I'm not even including my stairsphobia), but I'm glad still

• trying to install resident evil but my laptop sucks ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ
• sometimes try to learn japanese or chinese but lazy af (it doesn't go further that hiragana or ただいま~)
• badly janitorai coded (i can't live without it, sorre)

• trying to read books (on the cruel prince series now btw)
• if it's not kpop, then it's bad omens, linkin park, one ok rock, poets of the fall, chase atlantic, coldrain (srsly guuuys try coldrain, they are so good)
• love volleyball but it's traumatizing (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)
