For Mario's birthday I decided to go ahead and buy Mario's 3D World + Bowser's Wrath while it was on sale. I played a friend's copy back when it came out and really enjoyed both games. Up for a replay! 3D World is probably a top 5 Mario game for me tbh.

Agreed on Yoshi (who is best when he's making bizarre robot-like noises somehow), but I think Mario talking is fine -- he just needs a fun voice / strong accent to work properly.
