I’ve tried a reason with them and give them examples of how govt works and why it’s important to take a longer view to get things accomplished… that change doesn’t occur in a single election cycle. And that’s when the true colors come out. They don’t care. And I don’t have the energy to argue

I just had to make a similar post. And unfortunately, most of the people I’m blocking are self proclaimed “liberals “or “progressives”. And what I’m finding is these people have absolutely no idea how government works.

You better push people to vote against Republicans. And don’t lecture me. 🖕

10.03.2026 22:28 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

And you’re fucking blocked. Democrats didn’t do this. Ignorant, liberals who think that they got to vote their conscience in the last election did this. The party doesn’t move left over 1 or 2 or even three elections. Don’t get it twisted. But you’re fucking blocked.

My name is actually Daryl… Wyatt is my last name, but of course! I think we just all need to take deep breaths and focus on the prize which is the midterms. We can’t control the things we can’t control, but we should definitely not let the things we can control slip through our fingers.

It’s the Christo-fascist regime that is behind the current administration.

2/… what used to be the extreme left is now moderate to progressive. What used to be moderate conservative is now just moderate or moderate lean Dem. But we have a two party system so any sort of change only will happen from within the party and never from outside it.

I do! In fact, I’ve been active in politics for decades and change can and will happen, but as I said, it’s sort of like a seesaw where it doesn’t change until there’s enough weight on one side and then it starts to tip. Necessarily we need to get younger people involved in politics a 1/..

Exactly

10.03.2026 20:28 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

And it’s those so-called liberals, which is why we are where we are today. They’re the ones that think because they voted for a progressive or someone who’s young and fresh that sudden suddenly everything changes. Just not how things work in government.

10.03.2026 19:51 👍 7 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0

Maybe a wish list for you, but if you look at the comments and the average understanding of how government works from so-called liberals, you will see that they have no interest in what you’re talking about. They just want Schumer to snap his fingers and fix it and he’s just not in that position.

10.03.2026 19:50 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Then you wildly misunderstand what the minority party can do when the majority is adamant and unwilling to compromise. Go do some research. Read how this has worked in the past and then come up with a plan to take back the midterms. Anything else is just a bunch of virtue signaling and purity tests

10.03.2026 19:49 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

2/.. and then after we take back the midterms, take back the house, take back the Senate and take back the president presidency, THEN you can start being picky. Otherwise all you’re doing is cannibalizing our own candidates for people that may or may not win in the general. Don’t get it twisted.

10.03.2026 19:47 👍 12 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 0

Sure but you realize this is not gonna happen now. You don’t have the luxury of voting your conscience right now. If you do you end up with Trump or maga again. Politics is a long game and it takes multiple cycles to get to what you’re asking for. focus on the midterms then focus on the election 1/.

I’ve made a decision. I will be blocking all of the people who incessantly complain about why the Democrats aren’t doing enough and trying to throw our leadership under the bus when right now that’s all we’ve got. Don’t come at me with your bullshit. If you’re not focused on the midterms, then 🖕

10.03.2026 19:42 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Nope. You can read through my feeds over the last several years and you’ll see my opinions on this. You guys were wishful thinking about what the minority can do. And all the things that you’re recommending require ownership of the media which the Republicans currently have so focus on the midterms

10.03.2026 19:39 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

This is completely disingenuous.

10.03.2026 19:38 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

The comments in here about Schumer are just disgusting. Do these people not understand how government works? It’s like they’re more upset with Schumer than they are with Trump. For fucks sake.. He’s in the minority. It’s limited on what he can do.

10.03.2026 19:30 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Everybody on here is bitching about Schumer. Why don’t you put the blame where it’s due and it’s on the Republicans and Trump.

10.03.2026 19:30 👍 22 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0

What’s upsetting about his response here? Are you upset because he’s in the minority and can’t actually do anything except use the pulpit? Get fucking real.

10.03.2026 19:29 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Get rid of the person fighting to get rid of Trump? I don’t know what you people think Schumer can do. He’s in the minority and maybe take a look at how government works. All you guys are a bunch of complainers that have no actual plan other than “let’s get rid of the people that are helping us.”🙄

You can’t make people like you by dropping bombs on them. Can’t think of a single instance in history where a nation bombed another nation, and the people were thankful to their saviors who just bombed them.

Yes, yes it is. Throw on a pair of camo sweatpants and you can re-live the mid 90's. 🙂

Last Friday I left Denver to drive 15 hours to Southeast TX by the LA border and Galveston... I use the 89 octane and almost every place in TX was between $2.79 and $2.99 per gallon. Started my drive back today. Avg was $3.59. This m'fer cost me almost 25% extra b/c of his ego. Are we winning yet?

08.03.2026 01:51 👍 3 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0

Fuck off. You’re not seriously complaining because Biden chose to keep the DOJ independent like virtually every other president since Harding are you? Let the man be. He did more for our country than most presidents.

06.03.2026 23:01 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Yup. And with prices through the roof in most urban areas, you still can eat like a king in areas like this for pennies on the dollar. Gravy was outstanding. I wish I had taken pictures of the gumbo and Boudin, but I was too busy stuffing my face.😂🤷‍♂️

06.03.2026 22:58 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

It was so good! 🤤And I’m pretty picky since I grew up in this area… you can tell sometimes when you go to a place that you don’t get these flavors from a culinary trained chef. You get these flavors from grandma and great grandma teaching everybody over the years.

This is a multigenerational family. I think the restaurants been there for maybe 20 years but the recipes go back five or six generations. Every single thing is homemade, hand battered, cooked to order. No shortcuts. A rarity these days.

And yes, I dove into this like a rabid raccoon. Only took breaks to eat more seafood gumbo and Boudin balls. Also tasted the Catfish courtbouillon. Next time it’s crawfish étouffée, Po-boys, and fried alligator. Suffice it to say we do not get this in Denver, Colorado.
