Mairwen Thorne is actually Matilda Theirin, daughter of Alistair and Mairwen Theirin (my Warden from Origins). Due to the growing concerns in Kirkwall, the royals felt their daughter needed to be somewhere safe, so sent her to Weisshaupt when she was 6 months.
