On one had I'm glad to see athletes at the Olympics showing the world that America isn't what the media pushes out to everyone.

But I also hate that these athletes have trained their entire lives just to have to answer these stupid rage bait questions.

Twitter is well...X, Threads is just porn now and Bluesky just feels empty sometimes.

Every social media app is trash. There I said it.

I've read it once, but I've never owned it. Planning on going through it again.

Picked up some casual light reading tonight. Also if you'd like a peak into the completely unrelated topics that are always going in my head at any given moment.

So. Cool personal stuff. This past summer I took over coaching my daughter’s HS XC teams. It’s been a lot of work, a lot of stress and a lot of fun. And last night my boys team qualified for state AND my daughter qualified for state as well. Super proud of this group of kids.

This kid definitely put a hit out on someone.

You will never be as cool as I was as a kid.

It's very frustrating and disheartening to be someone who has made his entire career in tech feel so disconnected and opposed to the direction tech is heading.

All this social media shuffling around and that other place slowly dying is really just making me think I just don't need/want any of these things anymore.

Just a quick update on how football season has gone so far this season. 🙃
