I would have really liked to see that game 11v11 because I think it would have been super entertaining.
We seemed to have actual intent going forward and it was stymied by The Incident.
Or 10v10 after the shot to Duber’s face would have been interesting too
I most certainly did not like that ref.

- Nico pulling Nelson early.
- Dani getting injured because the other senior midfielders on this roster are not going to help this team in offense. Not sure if Ervin Torres or a short-term callup for Alastuey will help.
Game is about the ref.
If Biro's foul was a red, that elbow certainly was.
I don't think I can take much away from that match besides really wanting to play Rosales on the left now.

DC looked awful and we let them stay in the game
Ref letting them play tactical foul bonanza for the whole game without cards. They just hacked every time we got 3 passes in a row. Wish Nico would be more vocal about that in the postgame
Liked: winning a game they outplayed the other team
Disliked: the ref, DC’s general shithousing, day game
I liked that we played on the front foot from first whistle. Biro and Jon looked sharp the full 90.
Didn’t like that Stroud was still allowed in Q2 after his shenanigans with SLFC
Likes: the W, lovely weather, beautiful poster, the Torres/Nelson duo, Ramirez
Dislikes (many fewer than usual): refs, too many tries with too few goals

- Christian Ramirez.
- Lots of set pieces.
- Winning (however ugly it was).
Disliked:
- Why wear the dark uniform on a sunny afternoon day?
- TV whiteout.
- The ref.
- Had a lot of difficulty generating chances in open play.
Liked seeing austin aggressive, and loved seeing them score with a guy who just joined at a steep discount

DC United's press is hopelessly passive and poses zero hard questions, great to see a team rep their city
First half thoughts:
-Referee’s first match in the center and it shows;
-Austin clearly outplaying DC but can’t convert set pieces;
-Gally/Rosales not on the same page on the right;
-DC is condensing lines and Austin needs to look to beat them over the top.
Dani continues to sport hair that causes early Justin Timberlake to ask “why?”
