There were a few, but I can only clearly remember one, and I donβt have my notes on me, so maybe that was the most surprising.
Heiden created a plan when ambushed by the necromancers. While I set it up, I was worried it would be seen as too convenient.

Heiden knows she deserves more, so whenever she hits a roadblock she will find a way though it, or a way around it. For her, it's death or glory.
Aldous will go to great lengths for other people, but if his goal is only for himself, then he will compromise so everyone is happy.
If one thing about Frogbo is beyond evident, it is that they are persistent.
Itβs stored in watertight barrels cause moisture will create rust and eat through it. (Also why itβs wash with pure alcohol, so it evaporates quickly.)
But other than that, nothing yet, though I can see adding moisture preventing additives when theyβre discovered.
Fulgar, being aware, also tries to avoid having her lighting strike people, but it does happen from time to time.
Being struck by her lighting is a way for a mortal have a quick conversation with Fulgar herself. Problem is, you might not survive it. And if you do, you might have chronic issues.

Oh! It's a marvelous system.
The rods in the factory can be redirected, using wooden levers and hemp rope to disconnect them and have her energy safely grounded far away. This is done when the rummage rings are lowered into the molten salt, or when the clergy blesses the vat.

Oh, I didn't realize corkscrew was so late. I learned something.
Now I have to research how wine was served in earlier times...
CW: Cursing (something that is normally absent from my snips.)
If you're reading this #WIPSnips, it's already too late.
I changed the dialogue. "Screw up" is not a term used in my world (but it used by me a lot), so I'm removing it. But it was there, so I'll share it.

Did this with βroad of bonesβ last night too. And then, before bed, ordered βKingdom of Clawβ from my local store.
*this process isnβt the bottleneck, givenβ¦
(I gotta proofread more)
Youβre very much correct that is reusable. There is some spillage when the ring come out of the container, so it need to be topped up every so often, but the majority of the salt is reusable.
Even Fulgarβs lighting doesnβt destroy any of it, but it does keep it into a molten state.
Straight forward and makes sense.
How long would it take moonstone to become a moonless crystal? (I assume this process isnβt that bottle given how rare moonstone is).
Thanks. Yeah, there are whole pulley systems (some with chains other with less conductive hemp rope) and lighting rod redirects that Iβm leaving out.
I know the fae want earth tech, but I wonder if earth would want witches. I could see a business owner finding a way for witches to help with their process.
Other materials (3/3):
Charcoal: Wood is stacked under an earth mound, with a small chimney left open to start a fire. Charcoal burners are common in woodland camps just outside of town.
Dowels: wood bolts were shaped with a draw knife and put through a dowel plate to create a cylinder wood core.
Other materials (2/3):
Brass ingots: Calamine stone is crushed into powder, then mixed with charcoal. It's pack it tightly with copper pieces inside a sealed crucible. The whole thing is heated, and then the crucible is tapped and poured into ingots.
Other materials (1/3):
Shellsalt: Shellfish shells are burned and their ash is mixed with alchemist acid. The salt that is left over doesnβt react with anything. Many uses, in and out of metallurgy. Made by Alchemists.
The idea is rummage powder turns to airyn powder, which is much easier to work with. But if done in the open, it also rusts easier, and it harder to determine the purity of dust.
This process halts rusting and the slag groups together for easier removal.

Step 3: Purifying
Pure Alcohol: Washes the slag off the rings.
Stone Mill: The spongy and sandy bloom is crushed into sand.
Barrels: The bloom is stored and sold by the barrel.
4/5
Step 2: The Blessing
Copper pole: The rings are stacked.
Molten Shellsalt: The rings are submerged into it.
Platinum Rod: The clergy inserts a rod into the container.
Fulgar blessing: She strikes the container, where the rings inside are converted to airyn bloom.
3/5
Step 1: The Pellet
Water-powered hammers: Crush Rummage into powder
Iron mold press: Push powder into thick rings.
Ovens: sintered the powder to a solid form.

I rewrote this #Marchistics a bunch of time, and I got it down as short as I could. There are 3 major steps to making bloom: The pellet, the blessing, and purifying. I'll give each step in point form and the tool used.

Which is good, cause she's the threat. π
She may not even associate her trauma with me.
Aldous does, cause his awful childhood meant his sister found her soulmate. I don't think he would accept, "cause you wouldn't learn otherwise" as a good enough reason for putting him though the ringer.
Oh! I'm pretty sure I'll know what will happen.
Aldous would start a fight, demanding answers, trying to hold me accountable for all my injustices.
Heiden would want to know what happens next and how she can prepare. She would also ask for the most legendary fight to test her skill.

This is a better picture of the actual structure of a Stilty!
Indeed. Jobs with the airyn process chain are convenient positions.
The open pit /is/ a little dangerous, accidents and deaths have happened (usually a fray rope snapped). But it is a rare occurrence.
Today's #Marchistics is boring. Extracting Rummage is rather safe, the area wasn't fertile to begin with and no one fights over the unwanted ore.
Even the wood and shellsalt required for an airyn sword is pretty minimal, (It hunger and expansion that causes deforestation and over-fishing).
Ohh, I love it. π I want one.
