Last week's nail attempts- trying out layering and combining different polishes. Neither quite landed with what I had in my head, but still proud of myself for trying!

I have been trying to figure out how to concisely write down the "person in an ugly shirt" test, but I started it when talking to ppl about "kink at Pride" but it works for a lot of things.

And no, this exercise won't work on every person, but it has helped me get ppl's heads wrapped around...

Going back to non-phone clocks has made this Daylight Savings Time feel easier, somehow. 😅 It's 8:45 UNTIL I SAY OTHERWISE, PHONE. TIME CHANGES AFTER SUNDAY COFFEE. (I was the designated household 'clock changer' since I figured out the VCR buttons and car radio. Nice to have the role back.)

If you think I'll run out of nice things to say about this book, I won't! Dragons! Floating city full of cool queer people! Aerial battles! Unique hairstyles! A dashing dragon rider with big Alan Alda as Hawkeye Pierce energy. DRAGON. PHYSICAL. THERAPY. It's a fun book, folks.

I need to be clear that this is about me AS A WRITER. As a reader, you can tell me every St. Swithins day the crown gives everyone an umbrella and matching polka dot galoshes and my only reaction will be "UMBRELLAS AND GALOSHES FROM THE CROWN?! IT MUST BE ST. SWITHINS DAY!"

This book is so good that when I finished it, I mournfully flipped through all the other dragon books on my bookshelf looking for a similar read, shrugged, and started it again from the beginning. There's no place like Kardoša. Can't recommend this book warmly enough.

I just made another account with my backup email. Whatever reason my main one is on lockdown, decided it's not worth stressing over.

I'm not hugely angry/frustrated about this, but it does imagine my dragons that there's no way to access my recently purchased books.

Purchased two great book bundles on Humble Bundle, but no matter what I do, Kobo is refusing to let me in. I have uninstalled/redownloaded the app, tried 3 different browsers, cleared caches/deleted cookies, and also tried logging in with facebook and google. No dice. Anyone else having this issue?

If you're able to check this out early, I highly, heartily recommend it. This is a book that kept me up past my bedtime to finish it, and the hardest part of reading it has not been yelling its praise to the rooftops before other people get a chance to enjoy it without spoilers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
