I solved that problem by deactivating my Facebook account before Zuckerberg owned all of my photos and data back in 2024.

We don't want to assume that they don't care. Some simply don't have the time to keep up on the news outside of their immediate area. She lives in Minneapolis, so she knows where ICE is and what they are doing, but that is about it. She is a dear friend who I've known for 50 years. She does care.

Not in this case. She's a busy woman with a demanding job, an aging mother afflicted with dementia & in-laws who are slowly declining demanding more and more of both her and her husband's time on weekends. She is not on any social media platforms, but watches her local news, where it isn't covered.

We need to stop talking to ourselves and reach out to our neighbors. They don't learn on the news about what is happening to Synagogues, restaurants, shops & Jewish Day Schools across the world. We need to reach out to them now more than ever. We need support.

I truly believe the Democrats can find their way back to the party base and move away from their current trend of bigotry based white grievance populism for young socialists. I believe they’ll find their way back, but I think it will take at least one election cycle. Hopefully not more than one
