A Clavell who can't look Arven in the eyes... Tyme trying her best to make him understand that he couldn't have predicted the outcome, that some people meet and then disappear from each others life... And then the Area Zero group coming back to report that the Professor is dead...
Thinking about a Clavell who introduces Turo and Sada to each other, watches them develop as colleagues and then in their relationship, only then to see it all fall apart in the most destructive way.... And then feeling intensely guilty and resposible for what happened

Had a whole scene of Sada pulling out the main shard and stapling the capture net of a pokeball onto him in order to stabilize it. Later they developed the suit to keep him monitored and the crystal growth in check.
Remembered my first Turo/Sada idea which was not super thought out, however had the conflict be that they accidentally blew up some crystals of which one got lodged in Turos stomach. Which slowly— and painfully — started to terastallize him.

The reason I thought of the AU this WiP is from was because I was lying in bed thinking “their designs are too smooth”. Like Sada could have much more fur and leather like actual Neanderthals. And Turo could use much more plates and wires- think Isaac Clarke from Dead Space
