I love both. My Laban 325 Sakura was my first fountain pen and still top of my faves along with the Pelikan Golden Lapis.
Some find it a little small, but I'm ok with it.

I have the Golden Lapis too, it's beautiful and special. I have a few really nice pens. Not sure I have a favourite.

I do, but many do not. It's personal preference but I think it can help you with handwriting if you struggle.

Haha it's also just before Fountain Pen day and Pelikan Hub. October is an expensive month.

I really like this.

To write fiction or anything for a long session I prefer the ones with a fine nib. Also, the ones that have just the right amount of weight and width in the hand 😏
The Laban 325 is a good example, but lately I fell in love with Jinhao 10 capless/retractable fountain pen.

As others say try a little silicone in the retractable nib area. You can also buy a shiv to slip through the tines if you still experience writing issues. Plenty of you tube videos on how to use them.

My pens live dangerously, they all leave the house without safety gear mwa ha ha ha.

And, ltd edition doesn't mean it won't be there in six months or a year. I have noticed many 'limited' pens hanging around for quite a while.
