Incredible thread π
It really is. Just such a good and memorable song.
Hell yes! I've been listening to all the different versions and covers and mixes today. Just one of those days where I'm reminded that CCA is eternal.
"Beyond the Time" is stuck in my head today
Yess that's such a cool function
I use a star map / planetarium app called Stellarium. It's very useful for real-time identification of stars & constellations in the night sky. I recently introduced my father-in-law to it and now he's hooked π
Nope π₯² I'm in Europe rn and it wasn't visible here
Happy belated birthday! Hope it was a good day π₯³
Yes π
We put this up on our shelf πΈπ‘οΈ

I have to admit a big letdown for me is the Tidus x Yuna dynamic. For some reason I remember them having a lot more chemistry. People often tout it as a great love story too, so maybe that influenced my expectations. But tbh, I feel like Cloud x Aerith and Zidane x Garnet are a lot more interesting.
I really like "Sin" as a concept. It's ambiguous, mysterious, and foreboding, and every scene it shows up in gives credence to its thousand-year reign of terror. It makes the final showdown feel really grand. I like it when FF has villains that are behemoths in the plot, like Sephiroth in OG FF7.
My wife and I replayed FFX (our first JRPG together!), and it was really fun to revisit this game decades later. I've always considered it the last of the "OG FFs", for lack of better descriptor, and I still kinda hold that view. I like Tidus as a premise & protagonist, and he actually acts his age.
That's an incredible coincidence given the lunar connotation with both events!
Thank you! London is certainly a very multicultural city.
Ramadan Mubarak! π May it be a time of peace and spirituality.
My first Ramadan as a married man, and also my first Ramadan outside of the U.S. π
The community here in London is much more organized, so I am looking forward to all the events and iftars. A lot of restaurants also have special menus.
Yeah, haha. People trying to recreate the famous walk on an ordinary crossing is funny w/o the context π
Our new apt is near the famous Abbey Road Crossing (The Beatles), so every time I'm omw to the underground station there's always a little crowd of tourists in that area. It's just kinda funny to me, because it has got to be the most unremarkable-looking historical landmark ever π
It looks like it's from the SD Gundam Gaiden "Knight" series. I am not too familiar with that whole line of stuff, but it's probably just artwork used for a trading card or something.
Thank you βΊοΈ Hope you've been well
Thanks!

Thanks man. All good. Maybe in the future when I'm in town we could try to meet up and/or at a con or something. Hope you've been doing well.
I'm flying to London again, but this time it's to temporarily move and be with my wife π we'll be able to celebrate my bday together too. I'm excited to formally start this chapter of my life.
Pictured below is Los Angeles. SoCal/OC/LA will always be in my heart, no matter where life takes me.
Thanks Hannes!
Thanks APin!
Thanks Lily!
Thanks Century. Hope you're doing well!
