I’ve had people told me “you’re my inspiration and I started learning Japanese because of you”, and while I do appreciate the kind words, I honestly don’t think I deserve that.
If you’re motivated to learn Japanese, hopefully that motivation sticks and all I hope to see is you mastering it.
You're certainly not naive. I felt that the best we can do is stay vigilant, and do what we can do protect our works.
Much like you I'm lost and dislike what is happening at X, and we may be powerless to stop it but I hope this doesn't mean you'll stop posting works because of it
