I had the honor today of being the guest of Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin at the Counting and Certification of Electoral Votes. As a former election official and someone who cares deeply about the process, today was a gift and something I won’t forget. Thank you, Senator!
I am just starting to explore our initial results from the @electionsvoting.bsky.social Local Election Official Survey. Job satisfaction remains high, though one question we ask if election admins would recommend their children go into election admin - that number has fallen from 41% in 2023.
