It was the worst of times, it was not the best of times. It was definitely the fucking worst of times. I still use Instagram as my main archive - 5000 plus drawings, paintings and stuff which would be a major arse ache to move. Viewable at @memento_moey

This lunch includes all five of the main Dutch food groups: cheese, cucumber, geometry, boredom and sorrow, with most of the vitamin content provided by the soul-destroying view of endless flatness spilling off the far-flung horizon.

So Philip Glass just joined TikTok. He only has like 4 posts and they’re simply him in what I assume is his living room playing the piano. First comment on one I saw was β€œyour piano is too close to the fireplace, you’ll dry it out” and if that’s not the internet in a nutshell I don’t know what is.

This McCartney documentary about his decade post B band is fascinating. You don't even have to like all of the music ( impossible) but his process as an artist ...and how did I already not know that a Northern Irish guy (Henry McCullough) was an important musician in Wings?!

Isn’t it amazing the way life can seem too short, and intrinsically magical, yet at the same time feel like a long, uphill road, potholed with fuckwits?

I’m so happy with this comp. No acetates or anything recovered from a degrading quarter inch… all songs that will be familiar to anyone who woke up to Wogan/Ray Moore/Steve Jones in the 80s. www.acerecords.co.uk/weds-morning...

Despite my silly joke, yes, it is a masterpiece and incredibly poignant even centuries later.
