I will not be buying Monster Hunter Stories 3 tbh. I haven't even played the first one on stream fully and I am not a huge fan tbh of the formula.
It's weird because I love Pokémon but something about MHS bores me to tears sometimes.
Capcom please release Wilds on Switch 2!
I don't want to grind out a Dave on a console I don't really play anymore.
I'm getting super tired of the "just make monster more powerful" type of game design in Monster Hunter Wilds.
It's just straight up boring bringing it in as a feature that you can now fight monster "but now it does more damage"
This is what irks me the most about wilds.

Pretty excited for this one. Definitely will stream it when it launches. Loved Wooly World and Crafted world.
Alone in this year, we still were playing Metroid Prime 4 and Legends Z-A, then we had a lot of hype around FF7 Remake and RE9 on Switch 2, got a full partner direct with 3rd party games announced, a indie direct with more games announced and now Pokopia, later Yoshi and Fire Emblem.
Today I am going to continue Ys Origin! It's time we finish our second run of the game!

Creativity is absolutely dead.
These days it's enough to say : "we are anti nintendo" to get people to buy your game.
Vibe coding is the newest fad that needs to die immediately. It's crazy that AI art is frowned upon but AI tools for coding that basically do everything for you is considered a good thing?
It's the same: you are not building something for your own you just copy work from others.

Every time I see it. This platform has turned from a cute "everyone shares what they like" into "fuck all of this, I am going to unload my anger".
It's interesting that no one even bats an eye for Resident Evil Requiem being a 13-15 hour experience for 70$, but will throw a hissy fit over 10 hour games for 20$.
If this comes true, even I will be jumping off of Windows. Fuck subscriptions and AI. Why should I pay a subscription for my operating system? Fucking stupid is what it is.

I think steam has broken so many people's brains. Everyone thinks now that games deteriorate in value over the years and are not worth full.price anymore.
Seriously it doesn't matter if a game is 10 years old, it can still be worth the full price.

I have a second physical copy of Fire Emblem Engage I don't need. What should I do with it?
Btw I might have bought FireRed on Switch and I'm currently doing a hardcore nuzlocke of the game.
I feel it's very refreshing actually playing these games without the convenience of a emulator. No speed up, no hacked in items, just the game as it was intended to be.
Which is a fair thing to consider. But I personally wouldn't push people who are specifically searching for the Pokémon itch to other games. Maybe suggesting trying them out is probably the way to go.
Pokémon still has a very whimsical attitude that people tend to grow out of.
