I impulse bought an enormous baby blue wok today cause I've been watching Iron Chef episodes from 1998.

Happy Friday the 13th. Today marks six years since I've had to work in person in an office on a regular basis.
I don't even recognize the person that I was 6 years ago.
The cutest sound.
I love making jam but I don't eat a lot of it. It just piles up until I offload some on friends.
I brained too hard over the last few weeks so right now my dopamine is depleted and there's nothing left but fart jokes and hot air in my head. I'm really tired.
I'm going to have to borrow this.
The neighbours came by to know what smelled so good on the BBQ. It's chicken. It's always chicken when it is enticing. Always.
I see they are finally making computer desks that are wide enough for external monitors and actually have drawers after many years of minimalism. I'm here for this.
That was the longest February I've ever experienced. Every single day was a fresh series of horrors.
Let's not do any of that again, thanks.
Inquiring minds want to know what was in the roti.
Quick, somebody give Uggi a treat.
The excited feeling of hope when we finally got the first shots was something special. After a year of darkness, those moments were the light at the end of the tunnel.
Please don't perish.
I have definitely wandered around Honest Ed's heavily intoxicated. There was a bathroom somewhere upstairs and I always left that store with the weirdest shit. Jesus hologram, lousy peeler and soon-to-expire gefilte fish.
You should check it out, it's a glorious place.
As one should.
Like every self respecting Canadian, I'm up early this Sunday morning to watch hockey.
We need more doggos on the TTC.
Dammit it was Hunan food not Human.
The Human restaurant seemed really uncertain about serving me spicy food. I guess it's been too long since I last visited.
Their spice levels make me see through time and and hear colour.
I almost always get the lecture. It's so hard.
This feast looks amazing. Enjoy!
You're not at the conference today?
I found a huge divide between the urban experience vs the rural one for COVID. As a city dweller, it had a much bigger impact on me for a much longer time.
You could have included that yesterday in the fireside chat at #RCIScicomm
Drawers are basically the pockets of furniture. I demand good drawers. Ones that can support weight. Why does so much furniture have shit drawers? Why can't I have pockets? WHY?
Especially if you have a very diverse lab.
I don't work in your field but I'd shlep to Mississauga and pretend to be part of the lab for this.
I'm interested.
You've never been unfortunate enough to have me keeping tabs on time at a conference. I start approaching the speaker and if I physically am in your bubble, I'm pretty annoyed.
I'd love a gavel or a giant hook.
