Overall, Furry is a big part of my growth as a person and a big part of my mental health journey.
Mentioning it my therepy sessions has been a joy, as he can see my confidence talking about them grow & grow. Great for my Anxiety of judgement/perception.

Likewise, Techkat, who I've been friends with since my first proper Cfz; I felt like I hit the roomshare jackpot! I good good bean!
Still, I need to find a copy of Isle of Cats Kickstarter edition to say sorry as Rum got on a tile. I'll owe it up to them and find a copy.
The only depressing part was that I was the only one without a suit. I felt out of touch. 😔

Buxcon was a life changer. Mingling with only Furries in a small town of Buxton will forever be a good memory for me.
With the Delver's crew I got to go and have my first holiday away from family and not hold back being "me". It's also where I had my first Rum&Coke thanks to the awesome Jay!
Plus, it's also grown my confidence in travel. Whereas I would've panicked and avoided travel, now I caught the bug and want to reach as many people as possible.
I had never travelled to Scotland before I was a Furry. Now it's one of my favourite journeys to take.
I don't thank the Furry fandom enough. Not only had it grown my friend groups but also it had given me an opportunity to be me.
So many awesome folks I have been lucky to have met over my 12 years being a Marten. Lots of perspectives and sub cultures I didn't know existed.
A great and open therepy session again today as they guide me through everything on my mind, the good and the bad.
Honestly it has been a game changer for my mental wellbeing.
Being called compassionate for talking and wanting to know/encourage all in the fandom was neat.
When creative inspiration hits, then crashes suddenly when I stare blankly at my document.
