Can't believe it's that time of year - registration already open for next year's Transcription & Chromatin meeting. Almost half the talks are selected from the abstracts, so register soon before it fills up. This is a very lively meeting, with plenty of time to discuss over dinner & at the bar
@fenaochs.bsky.social
Can you please add me to your 3D chromatin starter pack. Thanks for starting it :)
Can you please add me Duncan. Thanks for setting it up (I'm pretty new to BlueSky)
If you are at the #EDRC meeting today, check out Blanca Pijuan-Sala's talk in the TRANSCRIPTION & CHROMATIN session (16:45 today). Wish I could be there in Alicante - miss seeing everyone (FOMO.......)
# all post-docs - fantastic opportunities @EMBL to lead your own independent research group
Please re-post:

Ldb1 was discovered in flies as essential for long range enhancer-promoter (E-P) function, and subsequently for chromatin loops in mice & humans. Now with @babisgalouzis & Yacine - we find other roles for Ldb1, being essential for ZGA & recruitment of CBP to E & P

Thanks, Timothy, for remembering. βͺ@timothyfuqua.bsky.socialβ¬. Yes, it fits our data very well, looking at five developmental factors in embryos. The Hahn lab's nice paper now examines this at scale in yeast. The dual function of so many factors is very interesting
